My team has been responsible for creating unique assets posted by the Retail social media team since their inception. I’ve provided direction to encourage resourceful and creative solutions. Designers were given freedom to explore their ideas, resulting in the influence of content that the social team posts. We’ve built an in-house photo studio, planned and produced high quality still photography, illustration, and animation that are timely and relevant. 

Initially, we provided assets for Facebook, Twitter, and Google+ headers and posts. After recent approval for Instagram, we promptly filled the request for assets for that new channel. However, they were supplied without a social strategy. When additional assets were requested, I took initiative to meet with the new social media manager and the team, with a presentation outlining the need for a strategic approach. After presenting my Instagram strategy, they informed me that it aligned to the strategy they’d been working on with our agency. My team is currently contributing to designing a system of content templates for Instagram that the team could use to self provision the creation of posts.
